Lynn Ingle is fascinated with creating art on textiles and fashion. She studied art and textiles in university. On vacation in Bali in 1983 she was drawn to the indigenous way art is expressed in every aspect of life, especially with the application on textiles. Lynn moved to Bali in 1986 and never looked back, and is still in love with creating handmade art-to-wear comfortable fashion.

In 2005 the Lyng Designs label was created to meet and market directly to customers. Lyng Designs develops relationships with artful boutiques serving a customer base that appreciates the beauty and uniqueness of original art to wear.
